The Mitsubishi FX20K wire erosion machine has a table rapid traverse rate of 1300 mm/min (51.18 ipm) and a maximum wire feed rate of 15 m/min (590 ipm). In addition, this submerged type cutting EDM has a wire diameter from 0,1 to 0,3 mm, a minimum hole diameter of 0,019 in, and a wire tension of 25 N. Whereas the workpiece cannot exceed 800 kg (1763.2 lb), the Mitsubishi FX20-K has an approximative weight of 2550 kg (5620.2 lb). With a total power requirement of 13.5 kW, it features a Mitsubishi 32-Bit CNC unit and a dielectic fluid reservoir with a working tank volume of 795 l and a filtration flow rate of 30 l/min.
